Good afternoon,

I received this e-mail today and am forwarding it to all of you who have
been asking about Nonin's condition. Please add him to your prayer =

Please forgive me for the bulk e-mail, but I wanted to inform all of you =

of my medical condition, and phoning each of you would have been an=20
all-day task.

The results of the diagnostic surgery I had on Wednesday came back=20
yesterday and showed that I have lung cancer. It's a non-small cell=20
adenocarcinoma, a more treatable form than other kinds. I have no=20
symptoms and am feeling great. In fact, I'm going to the gym this =
afternoon.

The next step is to have a full-body cat scan to stage the progress of=20
the cancer. I hope to hear from the oncologist I'm working with on=20
Monday to schedule the scan and, afterwards, to receive a prognosis. My=20
personal doctor has also contacted another oncologist to work on a=20
second opinion.

Also, I'm working on researching cancer centers throughout the U.S. to=20
find what centers offer non-protocol, experimental treatments for the=20
type of cancer I have, in case I'm dissatisfied with the prognosis and=20
the treatment plans the doctors here have to offer.

I plan on finding the most aggressive treatment possible, beating this=20
into remission, and living a full life for some time yet. Wish me luck!
