Good morning--
Below you will find our upcoming schedule. We hope you will be joining =
us.
Did you know if you have come to an Intro to Zen class, you may come to =
any
of our activities? You are welcome to repeat the class, come to a =
Beginners'
Day of Sitting (November 18th) or join us for a Buddhist Studies class. =
Many
people are hesitant to return because they have forgotten some of our
"rules". Not to worry! Come any Sunday morning about 9:30 and someone =
will
be happy to answer any questions. Our World Peace Ceremony is held the =
1st
Sunday of each month so we may send out our intentions during these
difficult days. Ryaku Fusatsu is a ceremony where we renew our vows.
Everyone is welcome.
I would also like to point out the Communication Workshop (September
15-17th). In it I teach a modified mediation process and work on =
listening
skills to enable participants to more successfully engage in those
"difficult conversations" we all encounter at work, home, or Zen Center.
And have you ever considered a 7-day sesshin (retreat). Each year a =
group of
us drive to Nebraska to sit with our sister Zen Center.Let me know if =
you
wish to join us.
Finally, the best way to "learn the ropes" at Zen Center is to take a
training position. Go to:
