Dear Friend of Zen Center of Pittsburgh,

We hope you have enjoyed receiving our activity updates via e-mail. This
winter our Intro to Zen classes have been very well received. My
personal belief is that each of us has a clear intention to touch that
deep part within that is exactly deep peace. Although it is almost
twenty years now, I vividly remember the first time I sat zazen.
"Finally," I said, "I have a process to come to some understanding about
who I am." Now, I can't imagine not practicing the Buddha Way.

Perhaps this winter, you have come to one of our Intros. Perhaps in the
past year, you came a half a dozen times. Maybe you are simply curious
and went to our website. Perhaps you sit at home or perhaps you come
every week. Many of you receive the Prairie Wind  from our sister temple
in Nebraska (please respond to this e-mail if you wish to receive this
quarterly newsletter). We hope that in some way Zen Center has touched
your life in a positive way.

First and foremost, please know that we would love to have you join us
again on a Sunday morning at 10 AM or if you need an Introduction to
Zen, one of our Friday evenings at 6. Need more? There will be a two day
retreat beginning Friday February 21st at 7 PM. (Please see our schedule
at http://www.prairiewindzen.org/zcp/monthly.htm) 

We also invite you to support Zen Center and especially this year's
fundraising drive to make our bathroom accessible to all who might wish
to come here. Our Sangha is committed to being an open community and
truly we must remove this barrier to practice.

Pledges are the heart of our financial stability. Please consider "An
hour's income a week for Zen Center." Such an income-based pledge allows
each of us to support Zen Center according to our means. Of course, a
one-time donation is always deeply appreciated. $25 will buy a
"grab-bar" for our new bathroom. You may find automatic payments at your
